The Kite and Bike Festival, that is held every year since 1969, is a wonderful spring celebration for children and the whole family on the Saturday after Mother’s Day.

Hundreds of people of all ages come to the green spaces of Franklin Park for various activities including:

  • Fly kites in different sizes and shapes
  • Ride Bicycles
  • Make family picnic in the spring sun
  • DIY Kite-making
  • Eat the tasting dishes offered in the local food trucks
  • Enjoy music and more
