Ternat which is located on north Maluku, celebrates, once a year, the Legu Gam Festival. This is a folklore festival that indicates the birthday of his majesty the Sultan of Ternat.

In the holiday, lot of celebrators, locals and tourists, gather in Sultan’s Kedaton (Palace). Part of them participates in the colored dance and singing shows and some come only to watch.

This is a traditional fiesta that presents the beauty of the local culture and its unique ceremonies.
