In Lollapalooza Chicago Festival that is held once a year, various music styles are held as: heavy- metal, alternative-rock, punk-rock, hip-hop, etc.

Due to the numerous visitors during the festival days and the high demand for tickets and accommodations it is recommended to check hotel rates and book rooms & tickets well in advance.

Britain's American colonies broke with the mother country in 1776 and were recognized as the new nation of the United States of America following the Treaty of Paris in 1783.
