Magic Mountain Zermatt Festival
What began as club nights at Vernissage — a concert and club venue built by Zermatt artist Heinz Julen — has grown into Magic Mountain, a boutique electronic music and art festival run by the Verein Magic Mountain Zermatt association. It bills itself as “more than a Boutique Festival,” pairing curated DJ sets with art installations throughout the car-free alpine village, all beneath the shadow of the Matterhorn.Held annually in early winter as the ski season gets underway, the festival spreads across roughly four days, with two main festival venues plus off-location parties at spots like Cervo Mountain Resort and Backstage Hotel.
