2023 Locations
The Air Show’s static display will be split into two locations:

  • Aircraft Static Display at 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐢 (Safi Aviation Park)
  • Display Team Static Display at 𝐇𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐮𝐠 (𝐋𝐮𝐪𝐚) – Accessible through the SR Technics Hangar.

Gates open at 08:00AM and last entry at 12:00PM.
Flying Display will start at 𝟭𝟰:𝟬𝟬𝗣𝗠 at 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹’𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 (Infront of Cafe Del Mar/National Aquarium)

Once a year, in the second half of September, Malta holds an impressive air show. This is a competitive aerobatic presentation with the participation of teams, civil and military airplanes from various countries.

Malta background and overview
Great Britain formally acquired possession of Malta in 1814. The island staunchly supported the UK through both World Wars and remained in the Commonwealth when it became independent in 1964. A decade later Malta became a republic. Since about the mid-1980s, the island has transformed itself into a freight transshipment point, a financial center, and a tourist destination. Malta became an EU member in May 2004.
