Montreal Reggae Festival is held since 2004. Since then it became greater and more qualitative, thus it attracts, every year, lot of reggae music lovers who reach the place from all Canada and USA near by states. The festival that takes place for three days, hosts quality bands from Canada, Jamaica, USA, and Europe.

The event is known as the most popular of it kind on Eastern North America. More than 50,000 visitors, locals and tourists, attend the city during the three days of the festival.

Due to the numerous visitors during the festival days and the high demand for accommodations it is recommended to check hotel rates and book rooms well in advance.

The performances take place in open air on three stages along the pier of the old port of Montreal.
