The Paris’ Marathon is carried out every year in start April. The Marathon is French’s biggest running event which attracts thousands athletes from France as well as from all over the world.

The course is particularly amazing with interesting city views. It starts and ends near the Triumphal arch (Arc de Triomphe), one of Paris’ most famous landmarks, and follows in the beautiful streets of the city.

France background and overview
Although ultimately a victor in World Wars I and II, France suffered extensive losses in its empire, wealth, manpower, and rank as a dominant nation-state.
