Scarborough Afro-Carib Fest is held since 2012 in August. The festival’s aim is to preserve the heritage of the African and Caribbean community.
The festival that is a celebration for all the people regardless their backgrounds. It is organized by the non-profit organization, Heritage Skills Development Centre (HSDC), with support from Canadian Heritage and TD Bank.
The unique festival creates bridge that cover up social, cultural, and economic gaps by sharing music, dance and ethnic food.
During the festival days the visitors can enjoy:
