Sculpture by the Sea (Bondi) is the world’s largest annual free-to-the-public outdoor sculpture exhibition. Held annually during late spring along the iconic coastal walk between Bondi Beach and Tamarama Beach in Sydney, this spectacular event attracts approximately 500,000 visitors over its 18-day run.

The exhibition transforms the rugged sandstone cliffs, coastal parks, and sandy beaches into a dynamic 2-kilometer outdoor sculpture park overlooking the Tasman Sea.

• World-Class Sculptures: Over 100 large-scale, thought-provoking artworks crafted by acclaimed Australian and international artists installed directly on cliff tops and beaches.

Tips for Visitors & Trip Planning:

• Public Transit: Parking around Bondi and Tamarama is severely limited. Taking the train to Bondi Junction and catching the connecting regular buses to Bondi Beach is the most efficient travel option.
• Walking & Footwear: The coastal track includes steps and uneven terrain; wearing comfortable walking shoes, sun protection, and bringing plenty of water is essential.
• Accommodation: Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs and beachside hotels experience high demand in spring. Reserving accommodations in Bondi, Coogee, or Sydney CBD in advance is advised.
