Sierra Nevada World Music Festival is held every year for more than twenty years. It is held every June on the weekend of (or the weekend following) the summer solstice (June 21st).

The annual festival is held at the Mendocino County Fairgrounds, Boonville, California.
 
The festival concentrates on reggae and world music of various kinds.
 
In addition to the musical events, the festival offers food stands with diverse international and ethnic food beside great variety of culture activities as dance and music lessons, meetings with story tellers, handmade workshops, sport activities, etc…
