Sziget Festival (Sziget in Hungarian means “the island”) is a rock festival that takes place, every year, in mid August on Óbuda Island in Budapest.

The festival that lasts for six days attracts thousands of youth from Hungary and other European countries mostly France and Britain.
Due to the numerous visitors during the festival days and the high demand for accommodations it is recommended to check hotel rates and book rooms & tickets well in advance.
