Taste of Polonia Festival that is held every year in Chicago, Illinois preserves the unique culture of the Polish immigrants who live in Chicago.
The ethnic festival is held every year on the Labor Day weekend. It started in 1979 and since it gets bigger so it attracts thousands of locals and guests who fill the city. Due to the numerous visitors during the festival days and the high demand for accommodations it is recommended to check hotel rates and book rooms well in advance.
The festival is based on the Polish tradition and visitors can taste delicatessen of the Polish cuisine, wander along the stands that sell traditional souvenirs and handmade crafts.
Moreover they can enjoy diverse performances as concerts, dance shows with traditional cloths, etc… The events are held on several stages at the festival’s area.
