The little quite town Ciudad Rodrigo which is located in Salamanca region in west Spain, holds, once a year, a traditional bullfight.
The carnival is varied from the other traditional carnivals which take place prior to Easter, and is known as one of the ancient carnivals of its kind in Spain.
The carnival starts on the last Friday before Lent. Here, the same as in Pamplona, Ciudad residents free tens of angry bulls that chase the youngsters through the city streets up to the city square.
The city square is surrounded by fences and tribunes. In the carnival days the beautiful square turned into a bullfight arena that host amateur warriors
