The National Eisteddfod (convention) of Wales preserved an old Wales tradition from 1176.
The Lord Rhys from Cardigan castle gathered poets and musicians from all over Wales to a unique culture festival. Nowadays the annual convention is a marvelous festival concentrated on the Wales culture and language in singing, dance and music with an emphasis on men’s choirs.
As the events are held in Wales, those who can’t understand can be helped with a fluent simultaneously translation.
