Covid-19 Update by the Wooden Shoe Organizers
The Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival is scheduled to open March 20th. We are concerned about the current situation for our guests and employees. We are evaluating all of our activities that occur during the festival. Some of these will be discontinued until April 8th and others will be eliminated for the entire season to reduce risks. As more information becomes available, we will keep everyone posted. As of this time the tulip field itself will remain open to visitors.
Once a year, the large spaces of Wooden Shoe Farm on the suburb of the city of Woodburn, a city in Marion County, Oregon are covered with huge carpets of colorful tulips.
Wandering in the growing plots of tulips offer a unique and spectacular look. Among the endless garden-beds are yellow tulips, orange, red, purple, black and various intermediate colors.
In addition to the wonderful flowering landscape, the visitors can enjoy wine tasting from the local winery, food and entertainment for the whole family.
The inconceivable beauty leaves the visitor with a wonderful aesthetic experience that only nature can leave.
