World Body painting Festival started in 1998 and since it becomes the greatest body painting event in Australia. The festival, one of the colorful events of the world that takes place every year in the summer.

The festival is a melting pot of artistic performance, art and lifestyle. The hearts of the events are the world championships of body painting with artists from over 45 different nations side by side with more events and activities such as:

Austria background and overview
Once the center of power for the large Austro-Hungarian Empire, Austria was reduced to a small republic after its defeat in World War I.
Following annexation by Nazi Germany in 1938 and subsequent occupation by the victorious Allies in 1945, Austria's status remained unclear for a decade. A State Treaty signed in 1955 ended the occupation, recognized Austria's independence, and forbade unification with Germany.
