Worldwide F1 Grand Prix
The F1 Grand Prix is held every year since 1948. Since 1950 the World Championship has been awarded and since 1958 the competitions have begun to award championship titles to groups as well.The races that are held in various countries are considered to be the most prestigious, leading and most important in the world motor sport. The competitions are held in special race tracks according to defined rules and compete with individual drivers and teams.
All under the supervision of the International Federation of Motor Vehicles (FIA – Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile), which conducts the competitions and establishes indices and rules.
Drivers from all over the world participate in the competitions, they are joined by a loyal and enthusiastic audience of locals and tourists who fills the city while waiting to watch the prestigious race. (Visitors to the city during the competition are advised to book a hotel room in advance).
