Yardenit Baptismal Site is located on the riverbank of the Jordan River in the Galilee region of northern Israel near Kibbutz Kineret.

Thousands of Christian pilgrims reach the place following John the Baptist that according to the tradition baptized Jesus in the Jordan River.Along the fences of the baptized site the visitors can find ceramic boards from Armenia upon which engraved, in the various languages,  verses of the message according to Marcus 1,9 – 11
